See the World By Land AND Sea
When it comes to certain far-flung destinations, a cruise is sometimes only the beginning, or in some cases, the end. If you’re thinking about extending your stay in places like Juneau, Paris or Sydney, then a pre- or post-cruise tour may just fit the bill.
For example, your typical Alaska cruise might include port calls in Ketchikan, Juneau and Icy Strait Point, Alaska, along with a cruise through the Inside Passage, and a stop to view the Hubbard Glacier.
If you choose a Hubbard Glacier cruise, you can select from several fully-escorted cruise tour options in Western Canada. You'd enjoy exploring Vancouver, Calgary, Kamloops and Banff. Sit in comfort aboard deluxe trains as you travel from city to city.
Maybe Europe is more your taste, you have options there as well. In Northern Europe, you could add on a 3-night tour of Brussels and Amsterdam, or a 5-night tour highlighting the sites of Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. Exciting stops along the Paris portion include the Champs Elysees, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. Both land options feature walking tours through Bruges and a private cruise through the center of Amsterdam.
If you’re willing to travel as far as the land "Down Under," then adding on some time for a land tour is highly recommended. Your cruise would start in Sydney, then visit Noumea and Isle of Pines in New Caledonia, Suva in the Fiji Islands and Vila in Vanuatu. If you’d like to enrich your cruise experience, enjoy a land tour that includes a charter flight to Cairns to see the crocodiles and other wildlife in North Queensland or a boat tour to live the adventure of the Great Barrier Reef where you can explore the Reef from an underwater observatory.
So if you can’t wait for your next vacation to start or don’t want it to end, let Cruise Holidays help you add a pre- or post- tour to your next cruise itinerary.
