From here you can take the short trip to Bruges, one of Belgium’s most picturesque cities abundant with medieval architecture and interesting places to visit, including the Grote Market and Belfort Tower.

Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen sparkles at Christmas time. Discover a world of beautiful scenery, spectacular lighting, gorgeous restaurants and shopping, with a vast array of locally produced gifts and food. Or venture to Nyhavn. With its meandering streets full of architectural splendour and canals full of boats it really makes for a delightful stroll.

From the seaside resort of Warnemünde you can take a tour to the German capital of Berlin. With the Brandenburg Gate standing tall in the centre of city surrounded by excellent shopping, restaurants and cafes and numerous historical sites, Berlin has plenty to please everyone.

In Bremerhaven you can explore the ports maritime history in the National German Maritime Museum located in the harbour. Or alternatively you can venture to Bremen and enjoy one of Northern German’s finest Christmas markets, selling all sorts of locally made gifts.

Our final port of call en route back to Southampton is Hamburg.    Onboard the Boudicca

Welcome to the Boudicca

Boudicca was the heroic warrior queen of the British Iceni tribe. And we like to think our truly British, world class cruise ship lives up to the name. Up to 800 people can enjoy a cruise on board Boudicca – not the thousands to be found on most ships these days – so there’s plenty of space for everyone. And our cruise ship is small enough to reach shores many rival cruise ships cannot.

Fine Dining

The Four Seasons is the largest of the restaurants, tastefully decorated in muted browns, and hung with striking paintings of the seasons. Ideal for enjoying a gourmet meal freshly prepared by our award winning chefs. Or why not try something different at the Secret Garden Cafe; this oriental looking restaurant is self-service, but the standard is as good as in the main restaurants. This is less formal if you wish to just pop along whenever you feel hungry, rather than waiting for the set dining times.

Entertainment

Our bar staff in the Contemporary Lido Lounge are always on hand to serve a whole array of exotic cocktails, beers, spirits or something non-alcoholic. The perfect reward after a hard day sightseeing or shopping at the Christmas markets! The Neptune Lounge is the place to head after enjoying your evening meal. With shows, reviews and evenings of cabaret guaranteed to have you shouting encore.
